Test of contact with the AUTO-11
IEC 61730:2-2004 test standards
Test of contact with the AUTO-11Purpose
Determine whether or not insulated charged body caused by personal electric shock hazard.
Equipment
Equipment as follows:
a) in accordance with IEC 61032 as shown below on the 11th cylindrical test tools.
b) The ohmmeter or conduction tester.
Program
The test procedure is as follows:
a) According to the manufacturer's recommended method to install the components and connections;
b) The ohmmeter or continuity test instrument and component circuit connection, and connect to the test tools;
c) removes part of the components can remove the cover, plugs and connectors, all without tools;
d) The test tools in all the electrical connectors, plugs, junction boxes, as well as any area of ??the component circuits can be achieved, with the test tool to detect;
e) in the detection during the monitoring ohmmeter or continuity test instrument to determine whether the test device and component circuit electrical contact.
Final test
None.
Requirements
Resistance between the test tools and the components of the circuit during the test does not allow less than 1M ?.
Qualified criterion
The test tool at any time during the test are not allowed contact with any electrified body.
The test in the IEC 61730:2-2004 the beginning and end of the test sequence shown in Figure 1, but if there is reason that a test will cause the charged body exposed, the test can try at any time and in the test sequence.
Technical parameters:
The probe can be used to detect the mistake a human finger access to dangerous parts protection, and also used to detect the junction box opening mechanical strength.This probe may be used to verify the protection of persons against access to hazardous parts, and to verify the mechanical strength of openings in the enclosure or internal barriers.
Main features:
Material: metal, unless otherwise specified. (Material: metal, except the where otherwise specified.)
Size allowable error, follow no particular specified circumstances: (Tolerance on dimensions when no specific tolerance. Is given :)
Angle (on the angles): 0 ~ -10 °
Centerline dimensions (on the linear dimensions):
25mm or less (up to 25 mm): 0 ~-0.05mm
25 mm or more (over 25 mm): ± 0.2 mm
Between the junction should be allowed in the same plane and in the same direction is consistent through the 90 ° angle (0 ~ 10 ° error) activities. Both joints shall permit movement in the same plane and the same direction through an angle of 90 ° with a 0 ° to +10 ° tolerance.
This probe is specifically used to detect mistaken contact with the dangerous part of the basic protection, the test means are also used to detect security protection. This probe is intended to verify the basic protection against access to hazardous parts. It is also used to verify the protection against access with a finger.
Pressure from 11 cylindrical test means the application: 50N
Unjointed test finger forces to be applied: 50N
Accessibility the Test Finger
Implementation of standards: IEC 61032-1997, IEC 61730:2-2004 & Ed.2, ??UL 1703-2008, VDE 0126-5:2008, VDE 0126-3:2009, IEC 60529:2001 ...
This probe may be used to verify the protection of persons against access to hazardous parts, and to verify the mechanical strength of openings in the enclosure or internal barriers.

Application in VDE 0126-5 and VDE 0126-3, junction box and connector test conditions are as follows:
1. Fixing of lid at rewireable junction box - Screwless fixing of lid: Enclosures shall be tested with the test probe 11 according to IEC 61032 applied with a force of 75N for one minute to all points where this could cause a loosening of the lid. during test, the lid shall not come off.
2. Protection against electric shock: Connectors shall be tested by t he IEC test finger in accordance to IEC 60529 using a test force of 20N.
